Default Looking to find group

Advertise Here

I'm looking to find a group in rural state that I can join. I have public safety background with firearms, emergency management, medical, ham radio, outdoors, experience. I can be an asset. New to survivalist field but thanks to events within world I'm trying to make up for lost time. If I could afford my piece of land out in middle of nowhere to build a retreat cabin I would. But that's not currently in cards. So I'm looking to join an existing group with a rural property to retreat to or help form a group of like minded individuals who would be willing to join together to chip in as a group to purchase a rural property and create our own retreat for any future eventuality. I'd expect to go thru an application/vetting process regarding joining an existing group. Can be reached via forum.

Welcome and since you posted in this Wyoming section you must like WY and be thinking of joining a group in this great still Free state.

I have offered over and over that I will let any good, true survivalist join my small group.

I have had quite a few send me messages and emails over the past few years and some have even traveled far to visit, camp, work some and Live like few ever get to Live in today's modern world.

So Livewildforlife, if you think you would like to travel to Wyoming, at least for a week, month or all of next summer or sometime after next June then send me a message and even an email.

If you like this thread where I have told all about my mtn retreat and what I and some of my group is like then hope you will join. > https://www.survivalistboards.com/showthread.php?t=84562

Anyone else can also send me a message or email and ask me anything. I will eventually answer and if I don't then send me two or more messages until I respond. Sometimes messages seem to get lost or emails sent to my spam box. Even contact a guy on youtube and this forum named Watch Ryder to get his thoughts about me, my group, etc.

If I like someone well enough I might give someone a cabin site and a bit of land to build their own cabin or even any kind of shelter. I know of No better survival area with a great abundance of wood, wildlife, wild areas and clean water than there is on and near my remote mtn retreat in southern Wyoming. Someday I likely will not be offering land or anyone to join my group since I will likely be up there without anymore contact....

Mike is a great guy to touch base with. I haven't had the chance to stop by his place, but I am hoping to at some point. Groups in Wyoming are pretty far between because of the distances between places and the low population.

I am not a member of a group, but I live in a small out-of-the-way town with great protection on all sides and many people are of the independent, homesteading, gardening variety. To me, this is as good, if not better than joining a specialized group like you are suggesting. Find a place like that to live, buy some land and build up a social-network with people living there.
