Let's see, Cho Biden said this gun was too difficult to shoot, a reporter who shot it says he suffers PTSD because of it, but these ladies don't seem to have a problem. (neither do any of my girls.)

I'd guess it's a custom one, maybe from an 80% lower. It says in the video it's a custom build by Freedom Defense Tactical. LaRue makes one with a TX logo, but it also says LaRue & has serial #'s etc.

Looks like I should stop putting off the drive over to Freedom Defense.

Anyone know the name of that reporter? I'd like to forward him a link to that video.

Here's an article about a reporter firing an AR and making it sound like he shot a 45/70 or other big caliber rifle.
Might not be the same guy referred to above, but still sounds like a whiny witch.

Last month I took a nice woman to the range. She had never held a gun before. Thought a pistol was a little hard because of the shorter sight line. She loved the ar. Iron sights or red dot, she was putting them on a silhouette at 100 yards. Iron sights to start and it took less than 10 shots to be on target. She has come back since once and wants to come again.

The real reason the gun grabbers hate the AR , easy for anyone to shoot accurately, not too expensive to shoot either and holds a bit of ammo with standard mags.

They are not afraid due to facts, they are afraid due to fantasy.

This is a nice video, however, I wish they would've allowed them to shoot an AR rifle instead of an AR pistol. The only reason I say that is because the 'shoulder stock' on an AR pistol is an arm brace, which is uncomfortable when the AR recoils.

I bet the reason they chose to use an AR pistol is because the gun itself is typically smaller and lighter than an AR rifle, which is understandable. However, the felt recoil is more dispersed with a proper stock than with a pistol arm brace.

New York Daily News reporter Gersh Kuntzman likely didn’t set out to become the story when he took a trip to Frank Stelmach’s gun shop in Philadelphia to fire an AR-15. The owner of Double Tap Shooting Range and Gun Shop invited Kuntzman and his colleagues after several requests were turned down, leading to an interesting look at the weapon in action and a common sense standpoint on the status of gun ownership.
A very fitting name, it seems.

The AR is THE perfect rifle to train ladies, kids, and sissies on.

The Marines can take hundred pound teen girls and only need two weeks to having them hit torso sized paper targets at 500yds. Girls may get the grading curve on physical fitness but not on the rifle range. The only people we don't grade the same at shooting are the dog mascots. And in that 2 weeks, they won't see but a handful of live rounds the first week just to dial in the rifle. So with some basic schooling first we turn those teen gals into 500yd threats in about a week.

Sure, the Corps is real good at teaching, but the AR plays a big role in the learning curve. Light, shoots long and flat, and is a breeze to shoot if you wear the right gear.

I would rather train a lightweight on an AR than literally any other weapon. Even rather than a 22LR pistol, because the short range pistol accuracy might dismay them. If you do it right you can make them passable on the first range day and stoke their eagerness to excel.

When I think n00b weapons training my first thought is an AR. Bonus is that as they want to expand their caliber skill set the AR platform adapts. They make everything from 22LR and .17HMR up to .50cal and 12g shotgun. Each new variant will feel reasonably similar as they ride the caliber range.

I got my lady friend into shooting 2 years ago, now she is 65 and had a pistol permit, owns a Sig Sauer P320 9mm and loves it. Her sister shoots and they are at the range quite a bit. I have had her shooting 12 gauge shotguns with slugs & red dot scopes and she can hit anything she points it at.
