![]() I'll start the ball rolling. I downloaded a PDF reader and MS WORD reader, both free, for my $99 Android tablet. All of my survival files are in one of these formats or the other. A small Micro SD Card (8 Gigs) holds these files, scanned personal documents and photographs, and some music files. All files are encrypted. I still have about 4 Gigs left to expand. All files are also backed up onto a DVD, and thumb drives. Will be watching for additional files on this post. These files were found by a simple search on google.
I also copy information from this Forum, including some fiction, as my night reading. These articles and stories are saved in the .doc format and I save them on the disk for future reference. Dave Last edited by dvdranes; 11-17-2011 at 01:02 AM.. Reason: information added |

![]() I um.. am working on one :D
BUT I can't say anything for now =( I'll post a thread once I launch it on the Android Market, after all, some of the inspiration to make it was due to this forum and a few other very similar ones I frequent. (and dvdranes idea is a great one as well, those micro sd cards are pretty dam durable and there's tons of docs out there to collect and put on one or a few, ![]() this case is an awesome way to organize and secure a collection of sd/micro sd cards!) |

![]() I know what you mean. I had a smart phone about 3 years back and Iam amazed at how much they changed. During that 3 years I had a motorola brute. DO NOT GET THAT PHONE! Its not durable at all. My Ipod touch 2nd gen is more durable. But now I have an ATRIX 2 and I love it so far.

I believe each of these iPhone apps is free or has a free version (which is fine). I would also get the app for at least two of your local news channels. |

someone posted a link in these forums that i've saved with a bajillion survival pdf's... using the app ibooks and then putting those pdf's on your iphone/ipod/ipad would probably eliminate the need for any other informational apps. original link from these boards: https://www.survivalistboards.com/sho...d.php?t=206879 |
