Went by Walmart yesterday to have a look and all their sale stickers had the same price as the original. Not much of a sale. They did have a number of 100 round boxes of Winchester 12 guage for $21. Thought about buying it, but it was the wrong shot size and it wasn't Super X, so I passed.

It sure took them a long time. The cases had been packed for months since they said they were going to stop all handgun and 'military' ammo.

Federal .223 or Winchester 5.56 25 cents a round.

I picked up JHP 240 gr. .44 Mag for $30 for 50. (White box) and Federal for $35.
100 round boxes of Federal 9mm RN $15.

I refuse to step foot in there let alone spend $.

My local walmart had 200 round 9mm for 30.00. Don't shoot much 9mm anymore but at that price I may pick me up a box or two.

I donít think you missed out on the Winchester. Thatís close to what it runs around here most of the time for the cheap of cheap.

Not great but they do bust clays! Fun times!

I got the oh what the hell's yesterday and picked up one of those 100 round boxes. They are called "universal" which I've never heard of. 1200 feet per second and a split wad. Know nothing about them, but they'll shoot.

I checked when I was there yesterday. They had a jammed full locked display case, didn't see any holes/missing calibers.
But like you mentioned, each had 2 price tags with the same price..weird.

Not sure if its store policy or law,but they have some of the shotgun ammo just loose on the shelves, not locked up.
Lot of the knives are locked up also, but different one(like fillet knives for fishing)are in the open.

My experience with Winchester Universal has been not good. It will not function in a lot of our shotguns. Others seem to love it. AA or Federal is what we usually get, often at the same price.

They’ve removed all the clearance stickers as of Friday locally
The sporting goods desk is never attended, and when you use the call button they come out they’re upset ask for ammo and the location of the keys is a mystery.

I only bought .22 ammo during the shortage on the rare occasion when it was in stock, as it was the only way to get reasonably priced ammo. Now that it is now obtainable, I won't buy ammo from them.

How will they not function? They don't go bang or do they have trouble feeding (pump). My neighbor made the comment a few days ago that his pump won't feed Winchester, but loves Federal. On the feeding and based on my experience with my Mossberg, the fingers (stop/interceptor) are the problem. After some carefully tweaking it will now eat anything I put in it..

mostly failure to eject, usually caused by the extractor not being able to get a good grip on the rim. Also some would not feed well because the base was not uniformly sized and the top edge would not be tight to the hull.

Here in Mississippi, the only calibers on sale were 40 and 45 when I checked on Saturday. The employee behind the counter didn't seem to know about any impending liquidation.

Mine got a 'last' shipment in. I picked up 5-200 round boxes of Federal 9mm brass for $20 each. $100 for 1,000 rounds. Not a bad deal. I considered buying all 15 boxes but thought I should leave some for others to enjoy.
