I live in Overland Park Kansas. It's icy on the cars and the house. Not too much on the roads. We'll see what tomorrow brings as it's supposed to be worse. But we are prepped and ready for such things. I mean we live in Tornado land.

I have to say the grocery store was a madhouse yesterday. I went to pick up a gallon on milk and some chicken. And my god. It's like people were expecting the apocalypse. It's supposed to melt off by Monday. LOL. Just coming from Maine I think it's kind of funny. We had 18" of snow when we left with about 2" of ice underneath. The Midwest just doesn't know how to handle this kind of cold.

Global warming. Also means global cooling. Ice melts at the poles. Pushing more cold air. Kind of like a swamp cooler. We can only expect things to get worse before they get better.

Got about 1/4 inch of ice here, south of St. Louis. I'm interested to see if we get more tomorrow morning. We're not worried about it in this house. Have the wood stove, lanterns and other stuff. Long as no trees fall and hit the house or cars.
