Well it turns into a waco incident. They crash your house, kill your dog and rape your wife. What will you do at that point.

You seem like a train wreck who loves to be under the government and would gladly sell out his neighbors for a small fee.

Yeah I am sorry I actually forgot I left out the mk19 as well.

Oh and the 249 was expert in automatic gunner and crew serve tables. Eat a **** and enjoy chains of slavery

Yep, pay for a tax stamp that puts you on a government registry and flags you as a possible militant "threat to the public". Then buy a gun that due to it's trigger group, costs as much as a good truck, and is over 30 years old! Tax stamps are pretty ridiculous, especially, every time you want to cut a barrel, suppress, or fit a chassis.

Whoo-ee! Smell the freedom! Smells like rollin' past a hog farm...Outlawed, delayed confiscation, 2A trampling; call it what you will. Look at some of the states. Pretty soon it's detachable mags, flash hiders, barrel shrouds(shoulder things that go up), pistols that are too small... Then bump stocks... Whoops, that's federal, and just happened.

Once all that is accomplished, then they get started on semi autos, and licensing.

Whether or not you give a crap about FA, or any other type of gun is completely irrelevant.

I imagine that the Govt could use the carrot and stick method to collect quite a few firearms: each surrendered firearm is a $2,000.00 tax credit, and possession of a banned firearm is a felony with a minimum mandatory of 10 years.

Some people will not risk 10 years of their life for a firearm they will never again be able to shoot. If you bury your firearm or otherwise conceal it in an inaccessible place, it is pretty much useless for self defense. Keeping it in a closet is too big a risk of it being found during a search.

If the government creates heavy penalties, then the firearm is really only useful for if and when the civil rebellion starts.

Why do you think that Obama made so many federal agencies have LE? This way, if the local leos won't do it, there are feds that will. We need to limit the federal agencies that have these powers and overturn the "patriot act".

Exactly. The same impact is happening in local, urban areas. Many of the LE don't live in those areas and I think it's easier to abuse authority as easy as it is for the community (thugs) to abuse and target LE. Any LE not familiar with the community will not have any vested interest in understanding the situation or community; they are given intel of a "bad guy" with the orders to stop the threat. That's harder to do with LE who are known or with ties to the community.

I honestly think a tyrannical, liberal government would be very willing to request UN "assistance" to enforce gun confiscations. This has and does occur in other countries and it's always a disaster.

Except this post, which I'm guessing isn't the only place you've said this. Hopefully you didn't buy any of those with a credit card either, right?

50 percent of Americans understand voting is pointless because all your voting for is some new slave master to tell you he isn't like the last one.

I'll just tell the truth. I was out canoeing one day with every gun I owned and I tipped the boat in the lake and couldn't find any of them! It's a shame, really.
