Military grade laser pointer.

Incredibly powerful.

Can pinpoint anything you can see - even a mile away

Made 2 batches of mozzarella, and a batch of ricotta with the whey left over from making the mozzarella. STILL have over 5 gallons of milk to deal with, but at least there's SOME room in the refrigerator now!
Then I went to Cabellas (only for some fishing line) and it did not work out that well as they "hooked" me over to the ammo area where I spent my fair share.
It happens, you left home with a plan and upon first contact it then goes off the rails. Confession: The wife and I went shopping on Saturday with the plan to only buy a 40# case of chicken, we found boneless skinless thighs priced at $1.20/lb. Then upon seeing a primal cut of Ribeye roast at $5.19/lb, into the cart it went. And then, and then, and then, we spent almost 4X more than planned but the chest freezer is now loaded to the top again with the tiny freezer on top of the fridge catching the overflow.

Thankfully hurricane season is over.

You didn't read the latest memo. Hurricane season runs "until" the end of November[technically]. So we have 26 m0re days left, as "they" say.

picked up three boxes (1250 rds) of .117 pellets for my pellet rifles. Waiting for the PCP to arrive, it is due anytime this week. I have 3 rifles to sight in. When it arrives I'll do some sighting in. I'm seeing the pcp pellet guns as good foraging rifles.

Zippo insert in waterproof case, which also limits fuel evaporation.
With an attached compact stainless steel lighter fluid flask.

Very cool fuel flask. I have a couple of the Zippo fuel canisters but they are only about a third to half as long as that.
I did order a few of those waterproof covers, though. They will probably arrive in another week or so.

Sorting out some accumulated intact coffee percolators that were gathering lots of dust.
Going to clean up & run them through the dishwasher.
Then properly store away - as sell / trade / barter stock.

Why do I envision a whole courtyard surrounded by shipping containers of stuff at your bug out location Bunkerbuster ? I can't envision keeping track of everything let alone storing it all and keeping it clean !

Repacked winter gear for the van the family uses. Still need to buy 1-2 items to round it out.

Bought a bunch of gun cleaning gear with reward points so 40 dollars worth for 8 bucks.

Many don't realize I prep for a 1/2 dozen families in our BOL group.
(all related by blood or marriage, with a couple individual exceptions)

So, they get 1st pick on a lot of the gear I accumulate.
Meaning, I usually don't store it, they do.

As far as BOL storage, we built a few sturdy weather-proof post & beam sheds to do it all.

Clipboard in each shed with content inventory.

Plus, a computerized master inventory spread sheet.
(with back-ups)

No sense having it, if you don't know where it is....

Our BOL storage space is about maxed-out.
So, with rare exceptions, I pretty much have stopped accumulating gear, etc.

I know I always think it might be a blessing to be adopted into your family Bunkerbuster but at my age I think there is fat chance of that . So I just keep inching along , a cart of horse manure went downhill and spread where it was needed and a cart of big leaf maple leaves came back uphill and mulched the veggie garden . I put protective wire fence panels around the sunburst honey locust I planted mostly for contrast of foliage against the monotone of forest green but it is also a nitrogen fixer and the posts around it can be used with the electric wire or netting system to create small grazing paddocks for rotation. Rabbit tractors get moved twice a day and they have fed on nothing but lawn since spring . I just like to know I can produce food a lot of ways if I need to and experiment to improve efficiencies .

Haven't posted in a few.

Got some more MH meals at Costco on sale.

Bought 20 pounds of tomatoes, which made a gallon and some change of marinara sauce.

Been out hunting a lot. I've had some opportunities, but no dice yet.
