Excellent way to get that "word of mouth" advertising campaign started!

Waiting for arrival of the others 1/2 this size to arrive.

INTENT, to be used as compact durable waterproof containers for quickly easily dispensing a paste like fire starting tinder super accelerant about the consistency of Vaseline (but will not freeze solid). Will easily ignite with a small flame, Ferro rod sparks, bow drill, etc. Very large flame envelope, long burn time & burns extraordinarily HOT.

About to be "patent" pending & with a trademarked survival oriented name.

Is it the formula you intent to patent? Fire startgin paste already exists.

@bunkerbuster Good luck with your venture. It will have to be extraordinary to compete with what is already available but one never knows till you try. Years ago I would take plywood scraps leftover from a friends 'knickknack' business, form a consumable wooden structure with a hollow interior, and then fill that hollow with an alcohol gel I made. I would take these 'stoves' camping, light the gel through a small opening, cook my meal and then have a ready made bed of coals to which I would add firewood for the camp fire.

I was helping a friend move to a small town near Tulsa. I noticed that towns small grocery store was having a remodeling sale and stopped in for a look see. I bought 6 Turkey breasts BOGO and 2 whole Turkeys that were buy one get one 1/2 off.
I took a chance on some seed and bought 20 pkgs for $1
I don't really like turkey, but hubby does and it was too good a deal to pass by.

Yes, the composition / formula is what is being patented.

Had a reminder about getting adequate medical supplies yesterday. Had a kidney stone attack. Tell you what, you better have some decent pain meds on hand or even something as minor as a 2mm stone in your kidney will put you down for the count.

Below is the link to Coghlan's Fire Paste MSDS

https://www.coghlans.com/files/sds/c..._FirePaste.pdf

Its made of Stoddard Solvent 80-90%, Bentonite, Silicon Dioxide 5-10% & Ethanol, Ethyl Alcohol 2-5%.

Stoddard Solvent is basically dry cleaning fluid.

Not impressed with the formulation - at all

When it comes to fire, BunkerBuster is like Picasso and Einstein rolled into one. He does flame like the government does a mouse. An elephant is a mouse built to government specifications.

My preps for the next several months are pretty much gun related. Mounting optics, acquiring everything I need to be a good spotter, lots of practice, some new gear like a modern chest rig I can wear with my harness and climbing/rappelling gear.

Couple pair of new fatigues, boots, field gear.

I'm actually joining the 21st century.

As I came home from work today one of my neighbors waved. Older lady who I run into occasionally while walking out dogs. She said she was moving and asked if I wanted some stuff she was going to toss out. The only thing I grabbed was this brand new water jug pump. I didn't realize they even existed, always thought they needed that big cooler thing. She said she bought it but never used it because she couldn't lift the 5 gallon jugs. Cool!

Looks like this:

I use one of those at work. Very convenient!

At home we use the ceramic type cooler that you turn the bottle up on. I prefer my water to be room temperature so don't need an electric cooler.
I keep a couple of the pumps like you have in my storage as well. You can get them at Walmart.

You got a good deal there. I beat the heck out of those percolators out in the field. A good one commercially will cost you an arm and a leg.

Bought a high temp silicone mold.

Just for fun, thought I would fill the squares with this sparkler composition below

Then add a easily ignitable ignition strip to each. Should make a great fire starter.
