Just thought we all might like a place to put up new releases we are interested in for 2017. So if you see anything you like, if you see any deals or just wanna show something new off post it here.

I like that cold steel is offering a budget version of there SRK, it'll be in SK-5(1080). https://www.knifecenter.com/item/CS4...cure-ex-sheath
Schrade is rolling out some ball bearing folders, the ultra glide I think it's called. Not my thing but still interesting. https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SCH...ack-g10-inlays

Buck also has an auto version of the 110 https://www.knifecenter.com/item/BU0...leather-sheath

Walmart has the Xmas seasonal knives on clearance. The Buck 110 is $25.00 in a fancy tin. All kinds of brands. Kershaw, SOG, Buck, CRKT and a couple others.

The Buck 110 auto looks pretty cool!
Benchmade lost their mind and dropped H&K and eliminated several models and took old H&K models and rebranded them and doubled the price.. They dropped the ball there big-time..
Buck was way down in sales in 2016, they need to rethink some things.

I see the trend of these small forges taking hold and selling more than they can make, a lot of small makers books are full for over a year and some longer.
One of my favorite pieces of news is Peter Kohler of Dark Timber Knives is putting out a production line that places like DLT will probably carry, if you don't know who he is check him out, super nice guy and a total artist bladesmith, he makes functional works of art..

I checked out both Kohler and Moore's site and came to the conclusion that I someday need to have a custom built. They make some very nice blades!

Steel will has a budget version of the cutjack coming out, D2 blade and FRN scales, in the video the guy said the MSRP would be $45 more or less. I think it would be less after time. Something that could compete with the Rat series and the Avispa and Zancudo for budget D2.

Zombie. Tools.

ANYTHING Zombie Tools. 1/4 5160 steel, aluminum handles, RIDICULOUS edges from the factory. The best steel pound for pound and dollar for dollar, in my opinion. And, 100% made in America, in Missoulsa, Montana!

I had the pleasure of meeting all the boys at the shop while I was driving a truck and they are all solid, 100% gun owning, beer drinking great guys.

For the first time in a while, I'm really looking forward to Kershaw's new models. I'll probably buy a Launch 7 auto (3.75" CPM154 blade) and maybe one or two of the new imports just because I like the looks.

I agree! I've been a long time Kershaw user. They've built a reputation through the years that brings a lot of value for your hard earned dollar. However, in the last few years their designs and collaborations have gone to the wayside. I was excited when they partnered with Emerson for the CQC lineup, and disappointed once I got one in hand.

I'm excited to see them bringing back some USA made models. I'm a fan of their versions of 420 and CPM 154. I did purchase a Link last year, which I use and abuse daily at work.

I got a Benchmade "Morpho" on sale for $165 a week or so back off of CopsPlus. Been eyeing one up for quite awhile, just couldnt justify the normal $265 price tag.

I dont know if they are discontinuing them or what (most places are out of them), but it is a nice, well made knife. Might have to relegate the Bradly to EDU and the Benchmade into its spot.

I was worried KC wouldn't get them, but they did! It will be interesting to see how the compete with the D2 Rat 1.

The Cutjack seems like it would have better ergonomics than the Rat 1.

I'd like to see a version of the cutjack with a frame lock and a G-10 scale..priced slightly higher. Just like the Rat, seems like a lot of knife for the money.
