Gov Blackface is throwing down the gauntlet in Virginia. Vowing consequences for 2A Sanctuaries . I'm sure George Washington , General Lee and other Sons of Virginia are rolling in their graves right about now.

The Associated Press reports the number of Second Amendment declarations sits at above 50, if one counts cities and counties together.
Jeez......

This guy isn't exactly getting the message is he

Quote:
Ironically, any law enforcement “consequences” would have to be handled by….law enforcement. And at least one law enforcement official–Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins–says he will “deputize thousands” to defend gun rights, should new gun controls be instituted.
Maybe this will though

Governor is talking about using National Guard to do his dirty work. Myself, I think it's shaky ground he's standing on.

Default Not good optics. Not good optics at all.

For those too young to remember it was at Kent State in 1970.

Is it still a Civil War if the fighting is only within one state?

Something the Statist tyrants do not understand is that much of rural Virginia, especially along the western border, is inhabited by descendants of 18th century Scots-Irish immigrants*, who won't knuckle under to anybody, and love a fight as much as they love anything. Much of the Confederate Army was Scots-Irish. They had no interest in defending slavery; they just took exception to the Yankees trying to push them around.

Deja vu all over again?

*Read Born Fighting, by Jim Webb. A man with deep roots in Virginia himself.

Some days I need to check my wallet to remember my name but I remember that!
I think this could end up a lot worse than “4 dead in Ohio”.

The Sheriff is the highest law in the county, I believe. Superceding even Federal law enforcement, if I'm not mistaken.
I reserve the right to be wrong, though.

Generally that's correct, as always, there are exceptions. People see too many movies where feds show up & just take charge of some state or local level crime investigation, cause the feds say so. I was just watching one move where the FBI SAIC had his office in the police dept. & all the local cops checked in with him like he was their Capt or chief. The big thing is funding though, just like with states that tried to defy the drinking age & the speed limit (back when their was a natl limit of 55) the feds will pull funding & a lot of smaller dept's (rural usually) heavily rely on fed and/or state support so if they buck them they can get starved out. I say if this happens they need to set up a go fund me account & let the true patriots of this country that are too far away to join the fight directly help out at least in that capacity.

When I was in college we got the free use of the ROTC building's basement rifle range. I knew a particular Army Colonel personally.

For the record the ROTC building at Kent State was burned to the ground by protesters over the bombings in Cambodia. There were also threats by the SDS to bomb buildings and poison water supplies. That was why the National Guard was called in.

The commies even back then were the instigators. One of the students who was shot was in the ROTC. Plenty of blame to go around.

If governor black face calls out his National Guard, they won't likely be facing unarmed students. They also won't likely follow unconstitutional orders.

Sounds like an issue for the courts. All parties are elected officials.

One can reckon to find out just exactly how many of the LIBTARDS are daisies or not? Once some boxes are opened it will be real hard to put the lid back on to be sure. Oh well can't wait to see how soon they want to start the dance the music should be lively to be sure. JMHO and S/FI!
