Arrow PSA padded boxes uses?

Advertise Here

I'm getting quite a collection of those padded boxes from PSA. I haven't been able to bring myself to throw them all out cause it seems like there ought to be a way to use them or make something very useful with them. The cardboard outside obviously means they cant be used as a regular gun case, as well as they don't lock shut. Anyone been making anything with them?

I pulled out the foam lining from one and replaced the disintegrating foam in a soft rifle case, that's about it.

Yea, I just went through that thought process today. Ripped the foam out and threw them in the burn pile. I really couldn't think of any decent use. Maybe we could all pitch in and trade a pile of them to PSA for a gift card. Lol.

What do you get in padded boxes.

Mine aren't padded. I got screwed!

I save mine in case of the very remote chance that I will ever decide to sell the gun.

Not bloody likely... but I just can't help it.

When I order complete uppers they come in a padded box, they're big enough to hold an A2 easily so I would guess if you order a complete rifle you'd get one too.

Im getting a small stack of my own. I like the quality, I did use one to sell another rifle in but...no creative uses as of yet. Perhaps I will use it as gag giftwrap, and put a new tie in it for my brother in law...

I think if you weighted it down, they could fall for it being a gun. However if someone did that to me, I might have to beat them with that cardboard box.

I guess I could keep saving them, and if I ever become homeless, I'd have an insulated box to live in!

I keep a spare parts kit in mine. Nice place to keep stuff clean and where it can be found.

That upper I ordered came in this nice padded box all good and clean.

Spare parts may wind up being GOLD real soon.

That would be as bad or worse as storing a gun in a gun case. I keep all my spare barrels & larger parts in the gun safe with the guns.

Pull the foam out and use it for pressing kydex when thermo forming.
