So, FedEx misplaced my package for a day (they sent it to the wrong delivery station) but it finally arrived today. Even with the delay, service was really fast.
They upgraded a lot of internal parts plus all the magazine followers and springs.

One again it is running great, hopefully for good this time.
If you have one, you might wish to check with Kel-Tek and see if you can get yours upgraded as well.

I so want a pmr/cmr set, just because.I keep thinking go ahead, don't worry about what people post,a lot more people are quick to post negatives than positives.
But posts like this bring me back to reality.

It would seem that Kel-Tek has realized that there was an issue and took steps to correct it. I am assuming that the new ones (mine is two years old) have already been corrected.

I hope to take it out again next week with a large sampling of different styles and types of ammo.

Keltec needs to make a braced version with a 12 inches barrel at same price same as rifle. It would be a sweet survival gun as .22WMR will stop most threat reliably with three to the chest or one to the dome.

I'm not sure what advantage losing 4" would give you. It would probably take that much to add the hardware for a brace and the current folding stock works great.

It is so light that shooting it like a pistol is easy anyway.

TETO

PS, here is what you would lose as well

Exactly. It's such a compact and light gun to begin with there is no reason for a brace and barrel cut.

I bought one a week ago and hope to get it out shortly. I'll be shooting it canned too.

Got it back to the range today to see if it was still working. I tried a wide variety of .22 WMR ammo, 30 gr to 60 gr. HP, soft point, you name it. Everything worked flawlessly.
My confidence is coming back, at least for now.

Kel-Tek recommends 40gr CCI, solid point only. BTW

Brand new? Hopefully it was already updated. If not, they took care of me very quickly but you must be the original owner.
