Fear based redundant efforts are not good science, or even good logic.

Just about any O2A maker will tell you that a good way to store a partially opened pack of O2A's is to put them in a jar and vacuum them down. That should tell you something.

It tells you that a kitchen vacuum appliance can lower the O2 far enough down to keep the O2A's from activating properly.

An O2A is just a sachet with a bit of moisture mixed with raw iron filings. Once it meets oxygen it will start to catalyze. If allowed to catalyze long enough it starts creating ferric oxide (rust). This isn't a linear process where a little bit of oxygen will make just a little bit of rust. A catalytic reaction requires enough of all three components being together long enough for the process to start. This is why a newly opened pack of O2A's doesn't use up all of them when you open the multi-pack. Clearly there is a delay or you could never save your unused leftovers. Remove the necessary level of oxygen fast enough and the catalytic reaction doesn't start.

You don't have to be a lab nerd with a degree to realize the answer is staring you in the face.

If vacuuming and O2A's worked together then you could never store your unused packets for later use.

Some more common sense is needed too. If O2A's work fine on their own then the added vacuum step adds nothing but extra work. And since you have added a new stressor to the bag in the process you may have problems as a result. This is typically in the form of pinholing.

There is no upside to vacuuming a mylar bag that has an O2A in it. Nothing is achieved. No longevity is added. No security is added.

But you may keep the O2A from activating and you may cause pin holes to form.

No upside and several potential downsides. Why would you add extra work that only adds new risk and no benefit?
