CDC removes guidance against choirs at the request of the white house. Despite obvious danger.

Needs to happen. It'll be better in the long run.

If you're not comfortable then don't sing in the choir.

The restrictions are removed but that doesn't prescribe that they must resume choirs. My church and many others have reopened with increased distancing; masks available; hand sanitizer; a cleaning crew between services; don't pass an offering plate; no choir; three service options; more exists propped open; and services still available online.

Do what you're comfortable doing and take whatever precautions makes you feel better. Mo worries.

Good to hear that there are some sensible people out there.

Since early March, my religious affiliation has held all of our meetings and gatherings for service over Zoom.

We are planning to continue doing this even after our states lift all restrictions. As a worldwide group, we still recognize the serious realities of this pandemic...

We are unitedly prepared to do this for a long time if needed.

Our church has been meeting via Zoom but will hold services starting today following similar guidelines to what Beaner posted. It isn't a large congregation, so we shouldn't have any difficulty with social distancing.
