Default Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Turns on 2A Supporters

So instead of fixing the problem, Patrick is espousing the same, tired leftist and inaccurate rhetoric...disguised as a public policy need.

“Pro-gun” Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Turns on Second Amendment Supporters, Sides With Anti-Gun Lobby

Quote:
But when it comes to the right to keep and bear arms, Dan Patrick is showing himself to be all hat and no cattle. On Friday, for example, he appeared on Fox News to promote a federal mandate for expanded background checks. In doing so, he exposed himself as not just unprincipled on the Second Amendment, but ill-informed as well.

How's a politician supposed to get re-elected ̶d̶o̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶j̶o̶b̶ if he can't lie through his teeth?

I wish just one politician would call it the way it is.......

Criminals break laws

What we don't need are a bunch more laws that will be broken! Those won't do a damn thing to save anybody's life

Don't put the onus on the law-abiding tax paying citizen

"to be all hat and no cattle" - not a big fan of this saying. Maybe "all bull with no horns?"

"All steer, no balls" is more like it.

He’ll have a hard time getting re-elected. Needs to be primaried out, and if not... I hate the idea of sitting on my hands against a Republican in today’s world but this man gotta go...

I don’t think he cares about getting re-elected. He’s got his eye on D.C. A job in Trump’s cabinet. Or at least his Administration.

First thing you need to know about Patrick is that he's a wack job. Before politics, he was mostly known for being one of those local sports newscasters who did crazy things. You know, like shouting, jumping up and down, flailing about, throwing stuff at the camera. He even had his vasectomy broadcast live on TV.

But he always was a politician. When he first ran for office, he rented a townhome in my subdivision about three blocks from where I sit. My BIL lived in the same complex and never saw him. He didn't sell his house, which was in the other district, or move or anything. Just used an empty, rented townhouse for an address.

I'm surprised he's lasted this long. This stunt, coupled with the influx of Democrat voters, just might be the end of him.
