Default Need Help Identifying Aluminum Pole

Advertise Here

This old fishing pole was given to me and it has no name on it. I have never seen a pole like this one. It is very high quality aluminum. It has about 3/4 in to 1 in. tube which holds the 3 rod sections. You drop the 3 pieces out of the tube and insert them in the end of the handle which has very high quality thread rod holder and then unscrew the aluminum storage tube from other end of handle. I am very curious as to what I have. It would be perfect for back packing. The rod sections are solid aluminum with a hole in the opposite end to insert each section. Thanks

Without a picture, it'll be hard for us to identify it. There have been many of that type made over the years.
