I looked for the book in Audible; guess you don't have a audible version yet.

It's in the works as I write this. To get an audiobook out there require some serious sound engineering equipment. It also takes the right voice. I think I have found those resources and the audio will get done soon.

Book one of Avalon The Retreat has been rewritten and is back up on Amazon. Book two has been completed too. Book three is nearly done. California's Child is rewritten and back up on Amazon.

If you read this story on this thread, the books are about this and a lot more. Go to:
https://www.amazon.com/L.-Michael-Rusin/e/B00A699NYY

It's been said my book Avalon The Retreat is a blueprint for building, stocking and maintaining a Retreat.

I just thought I might stop by on this old thread and see how everyone is still doing out there. Just as an aside, the Corona Virus sure would be an incentive to go to your own Retreat and hunker down until it blows over. I've heard it reported there are people saying the virus will circle the globe three times before it winds down. It is a killer, and it seems to be zeroing in on specific areas so far but I believe it will begin to spread with momentum and day by day.

There are a lot of people who don't believe a retreat is a viable undertaking but I am heading for mine in another week or so. We have an abundance of fresh water, a pond stocked with freshwater fish, thirty range beef, fifteen pigs and lots of chickens. I haven't heard of any cases in my area yet but at the first sign, I'm out of here. Our green house is full of veggies as well.

My dogs, woman, and my collection of Survival books I've accumulated over the years will be going with us. I have a year's supply of Mountain House, lots of powder and components to reload with, and various other miscellaneous goodies I'll be taking with us. I guess I'll spend the time up there writing another book.

I wish everyone good luck and great survivability in the coming weeks.

Semper Fi,
Caseyboy
