A lot of kids are going to needlessly become orphans before Christmas. Maybe they can sell the bikes to pay for the funerals.
Their POS governor couldn't kill off the local Native population with water cannons in winter, looks like she will try again.
I love Deadwood. I go at least 4 or 5 times a year. (Till now of course) I have friends up there who own a retail shop right off the Hwy. During Sturgis they rent out camping areas on 5 acres they have right by the shop. This year they have had 100s of calls. She told me 5x as many people than they usually have. She told all of them no because of the pandemic. She said people laughed at her, cussed at her, told her she was an idiot, ect ect ect. I mean really? Your ****ed she is refusing 100s of people onto her property during a pandemic! They are both older so obviously wanting to limit their exposure. It really distressed her so much they don’t think they will rent out even next year. She said “Wow all these people over the years have been so nice, how quick they turned.” I told her you think a little gripping on the phone is bad. Imagine if any of those people had to go hungry. It’s a real eye opener.
250K would be one of the lowest attended rallies for at least the last 30 years. Just last year attendance was almost double that & that was nowhere near a record.
First let me say I didn't go. Even if I still rode, being around 250000 people at this point is a no-good.
But I find it interesting to see the media complaining about the event. It's odd they have no complaints about the big riots. I guess they don't like bikers, though I bet if it was 250000 people there screaming defund the police and maybe burning a few buildings, we wouldn't see all the media criticism.
The hypocrisy noticed in the media coverage. I guess it's no surprise as much of the media have displayed their sanctimony. Now they are targeting bikers that I gather they see as right-wing is fine but there are BLM and antifa groups rioting and massing in large groups that are okay.
The infection rate is already being tallied . Virus Testing has traveled along with the enthusiastic Bikers.
Sometimes you just have to continue to live life ...proud & free. ( throwing common sense to the wind ,behind you)
sorry - but face some real facts >>> the ethinicity and demographics of those average bikers just isn't Virus habitual - you could test the whole bunch including the local residents and find little - if any Virus ...
if you want prime hunting grounds for Virus carriers >> attend almost any BLM protest
The event is indeed a protest against government overreach and trampling on individual freedom. We all take risk every day of our life. Think of the risk involved in just riding a motorcycle, especially in a crowded city street environment. Your decision to assess and take those risk is a part of your individual freedom of choice. Damn the politicians that would take that away. If they can lock you down now, they will go even further in the future. BORN TO RIDE!!
