Hajimemashi-te. Landline000 to iimasu; yoroshiku onegaishimasu. Jitsu ha, nihon de, kimi no posuto no jikan ha 'konban ha' no houga... Japanese Standard Time (JST) desu ne? (Boku no pasokon de, posuto no jikan ha "kyou, 9:21PM" ni yomimasu.)

Tokoro de, itsukara nihongo wo benkyoushimashi-ta ka?

Kyou ha sugoku samui desu yo! Tabun, ashi-ta mo... chotto mendokusai dakedo, shou ga nai, ne? Hokkaido dakara!

Jyaa, mata desu ne? Ogenki de!

(PS: ha = hiragana no は = 'watashi wa' no 'wa')
(PPS: I use the hebonshiki transliteration, so The Survivalist's 'kyoo' is the same as my 'kyou' for example.)
(PPPS: Hyphens added to avoid accidental 'foul language' censorship.)

Unhappy

Not a lot of English language sites like that in Japan
http://www.seikatubunka.metro.tokyo....ivalmanual.pdf
(E-J bilingual document from Tokyo Govt. on earthquake survival)
http://www.fdma.go.jp/en/index.html
(Japanese Govt. Fire&disaster Mgt Agency website English page)
http://www.fdma.go.jp/html/life/survival/hyo1-4_01.html
(Japanese Govt. Fire and Disaster Mgt. Agency website survival page in Japanese)
http://www.outdoor-skill.com/
(not an English language site)
http://howtosurvive.org/
(not an English language site)
http://www.uside.net/
(not an English language site)
http://www.ybi.gr.jp/bosai-camp/
(not an English language site)

Note that in Japan サバイバル (survival) often is associated with サバイバルゲーム(survival game) the local (airsoft based) version of paintball/woodsball rather than with emergency preparedness etc.
Hope this helps...

I can't believe it took 16 posts to get a smart-a$$ post.
Things are slipping fast.

My smart-a$$ remark is:

Chimney alley box string and fortnight limestone for basil greetings beneath hedges formality!
