Under the Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) category, the BioVYZR provides a full anti-fog face shield with a wide angle view. There’s also a built-in N95/N99 air purifying system at the back which filters out pathogens, allergens and pollutants.
Only $172 for pre-order.

Only thing missing is a built-in nose scratcher.

I really can't understand this. In my little town, a lot of us old farts and the cautious ones wear masks because we don't want to die. A lot of old farts and young kids don't because they think they're invulnerable. There's no real friction between the masked and unmasked, except that you can read the expressions on the unmasked better.

Why, for so many of you, is this a major issue? Are we just saner here than you are?

Looks like that is more of a go fund me thing and not ready yet.
Otherwise, under $200 for a PAPR is great pricing.

Oh, I see it is $250 now, and there is a statement about financial challenges.

They will be raising the price some more.
Probably settle out around $500 a copy.

I invite all the anti-maskers to visit Austin. Feel free to leave your masks at home.

"Additionally, Austin City Council passed an ordinance last week that allowed violators of the rules to be fine up to $2,000, with the potential to take individual cases to civil court."

Ten years as an Army Medic, around the medical community, and I can 100% say that MASKS DO NOT STOP THE SPREAD OF A VIRUS. They live on objects, on your skin, on almost everything you touch everywhere you go. And people touch our faces CONSTANTLY.

Go look at the equipment that virologists wear in the labs when dealing with viruses, and then tell me how a bandanna is just as good.

The BEST outcome is that everyone gets it NOW, (because they ARE going to get it eventually) gets over it or dies, and the antibodies are present large scale in the population.

But hey, let's drag it out for as long as possible because feelings.

Let's drag it out until next year, when it will probably have it's yearly mutation, like every OTHER coronavirus out there, and start this all over again.

Let's at least keep it real HERE. if you are being truly honest, all of you comply because it's easier, because you don't want to get into an argument with a cop, and because you don't want to get kicked out of the store.

Let's stay away from each other, stay inside, wash our hands fifty times a day, get paranoid, and watch our immune systems shrivel up like a raisin.

I swear to God, all these pro-mask arguments boil down to "dear God, won't somebody think of the children?! (or my grandma)"

You are being mentally conditioned for compliance and half of you are all for it.

If masks WORKED I would sing a different tune, but they DON'T.

But you do you. That's the freedom that used to make this country special.
You sa y "Mask" but then you talk about cloth "face coverings"

To clairify:
You are claiming that a Full face P100 MASK will not filter out viruses.
Correct?

I'm starting to think of masks like open carry.

Wether its effective or not, I do it because it ****es off the kinds of people I don't want to have anything to do with anyway.

Before the city council policies bankrupted all the venues it truly was the Live Music Capitol of the world. Having said that however, I live 30 miles east and the only time I get anywhere close is to go to VA appointments. And I would transfer to the LaGrange clinic if they weren't over loaded.

Wait staff don’t want to wear a mask. Guess hair nets and washing hands are next thing to go. One thing I’ve learned is how nasty folks are and my eating out is strictly curtailed in the future once we are more in normal mode. Kinda explains why there are so many signs in bathrooms remindIng staff to wash their hands. I’m disappointed in how unkind people are toward each other. Some of the screaming folks against masks on tictok is alarming. And it’s gotten so political which is odd. The entire nation is fighting all the time about something. It’s exhausting.

You pretend you are saner. I wear a mask were required. It's been in my pocket for a month just like yours and the people you pretend are saner. They pop it on, take it off, and store it just like I do.

The difference is they and you feel superior, while I don't. I don't catch the virus by avoiding close proximity with others and washing. Like before masks became a thing.

If you don't feel comfortable in the environment without a mask, make sure that mask is the type that will protect you.

Respirator mask for me.

Silly picture masks for the silly people who think silly picture masks make them safe.

We're not going into hysterics about who wears a mask and who doesn't. You are. Conclusion: We don't feel superior, the people going nuts about this feel inferior. And probably are.

I bought a whole bunch of the 3m's p100's in feb and march. Change filters once. The pink ones seem to have a lot of miles in them. The cartridge style ones clogged up quickly.

Yes, I have not managed to clog up even 1 set of 3M P-100 filters yet. Really, they shouldn't clog if you wear them in a clean environment.
