I'm certain I've had guns that killed people.

Ever own a Mosin? Or an Enfield or a Mauser? They probably killed someone.

How about a Garand or m1 Carbine? It might have killed someone.

I've also sat inside a concrete truck that killed a couple old ladies who were stupid enough to pull out in front of 80 ton vehicle. It is life...and death is part of it.

Granted, homes with children need to use special vigilance when dealing with guns; but the video is beyond stupid.

What they did not show is the 100's off people that said "ILL TAKE IT!"

Btw, that was not a .22 revolver.

NYC city of sheep and ****. Funny thing is, out 25+ NYC friends I have had that have come visited me, 100% were all scared of firearms until I took them shooting. 20 of them now own firearms themselves.

People in NYC have an inability to think for themselves for the most part.

I like this idea. Gets the point across about unnecessary (tragic) human deaths.

There are ~12,000 gun deaths per year. ~12,000 too many

I think we should take this idea and run with it. I need volunteers to operate booths at:

1. Home Depot. Shame people into buying hammers.

2. Car dealerships (~36,000 deaths annually)

3. Liquor stores (~100,000 deaths annually)

4. Hospitals (~100,000 deaths annually-malpractice alone)

What would they have done if one of the customers still wanted to buy despite the discouraging sales pitch? The law says if you advertise, you must sell at that price. That's what makes me think the whole thing is staged.

It most likely includes every death involving a firearm, including self defense etc.

Could be. I found it here, and rounded up

http://www.simplefactsplainarguments...than-guns.html

It's probably bullcrap, but the point still stands that firearm deaths are far less likely than other things.

My in-laws are terrified to fly. They're afraid they'll crash and die. Never mind that they have a much higher likelihood of dying in the car on the way to the airport. Or driving the 1,000 miles to Florida

I'm guessing the way they got around firearms laws was by using prop guns like in a movie.

Although I don't know what laws apply to prop guns, when kids get suspended from School for pop tarts that vaguely resemble something that could be construed as a pistol.
