Default motivation for new preppers

not a new prepper but just wanted to show what you can do with a 150 bucks, think how easily we squander a 150 bucks, this was from the lds store at least a 130 pounds this is a lot of food.....cmon people you can do it!

not a member. had to wait two months for an appointment but hey watcha gonna do? they were so friendly brought some friends from church,not a mormon church, and we had a blast canning and packaging they didnt even prostelitize which I kinda expected they actually wanted me to pray over the canning which I was happy to do.......thank you mormons!

Man you must really like beans! I couldnt imagine eating nothing but beans for 6 months lol. Still its a good investment.

let me clear that I was just saying how easy we can squander 150$....this was by no means squandering probably some of the best 150$ I ever spent also this is added to many other things only three bags of beans there and that big bag is quick oats this was just last nights trip to get some cheap basics....happy prepping

i done the nothing but beans and rice for a month, after the first week you learn to get real creative. wish I had an lds store around here.

i kinda think as cheap as it is not having 100# each of beans and rice is a fail.....140$ max with mylar and absorbers obviously with a bunch of other stuff but its a great base

I totally agree. I got 40# of black beans, brown beans, and rice myself. You aint gonna starve thats for sure lol. But man i get hard to live with on beans alone.

We all have different motivations. My nature has always been to be a little bit of a squirrel, but this was my motivation to get serious.
