Made a pass through the Mt. Pleasant area and found a little gem.

Country corner grocery or market. Corner of Beal City Rd and Mission Rd between Mt pleasant and Rosebush.

I didn't have time to make a full look over but I saw wheat berries by the 50 lbs, all kinds of oats, including steel cut by the pound, bulk spices, refills of soaps and laundry detergent, store made natural peanut butter, ground flours and a lot of other goodies. Decent prices too, less than 50 lb price for steel cut oats was .75 per pound and less by the sack. The gal said they can order about anything in on special order.

Oh yeah, cheap subs too.

Worth a stop if your in the area, next time I pass by I will be grabbing up some bigger sacks of stuff.

Nice people and good stuff, just a little shout out.

Default Country Life Natural Foods in Pullman

Recently we paid a visit to Country Life Natural Foods in Pullman. They offer quite a variety of reasonably priced bulk foods and have an extensive delivery system that is free for some routes (Michigan included) if you order over $400.

Your welcome. I really like it and the peanut butter is incredible if you didn't pick any up.

I'm looking forward to the next trip in.

Country Life Natural Foods is a good place to order from. Have ordered quite a bit from there. If you are in an area they deliver to a lot, you may not need a $400 order.

That's the Mennonite store, they're about 2 miles from my house and we love it. They have random sale prices on deli items too.. often good deals.

There is a bulk food store in Snover, Mi. up in the thumb. It is called Country View Bulk Food Store. It is also run by Mennonites and I love it. They have all the grains, flours, sugars by the 50 pound bag as well as a huge assortment of fruit and vegetables by the bushel as they ripen. Tons of cheeses and a small restaurant as well. Rows of seasonings and all the cooking and baking supplies you need. I love this store!
