Rossi made a .454 lever action briefly a number of years ago. Apparently there was some issue with the pressure generated by the .454 cartridge and how the Rossi action supports the cartridge and they were not produced very long. I don't believe Marlin or Henry ever produced one. They are certainly scarce.
The Rossi is a very fine rifle. I have a .45 colt and two .44 mag. I once owned a Rossi .480 but someone wanted it more than me .put it on Gun Broker and it brought $1700.00,that’s
crazy. No way was it worth that much. My son bought it for me nd I hated getting rid of it but that’s a lot of money
