Thanks, for the prayers. God has been good to her, chemo done, surgery done. Tests are all clear. now 35 radiation treatments.
Kind of slows things down, makes you think.
Again, Thanks.

Drove to Tennessee again last weekend to check out more properties. My daughter and her husband have been working with an agent to find and take a first look.
Well, we may have found our place. Many things need to fall into place, first.
It is 100 acres of undeveloped land near Sale Creek, North part of Hamilton County.
Will update info as it happens.
Please, wish my family luck. And, God's blessing.

Well, another loss.
Property was beautiful. However, we did not have all the info. Over 100 acres, but some obscure law only lets u put 2 houses on the parcel. We were all in until we got that "kick in the teeth"
Will keep looking.

KH, I would suggest Cumberland county. Its a retirement county by county advertisement. We are in Crossville and couldn't be happier with the town and location. 50 minutes to Knoxville (1st rate hospitals) and about 1.5 Hrs to Chat. My brother in law liked it so much, they just moved here from Gloucester VA. He also is retired Army Major. ALOT of retired Military here. A bit more winter here on the plateau if you can call it that than down Chattanooga way but much cooler up here at 2000' ASL during the summer. Down side is big 100 acre parcels are not easy to come by out this way. Good Luck with the search and the best of health to your wife and family in the coming years. Be Well.

Thanks, Xtriggerman,
The plateau is on the far edge of our search area. It would be nice to be up there. My daughter and son-in-law are already in Chattanooga and want to be within an hour commute. That may change as time goes on.
The virus scared the crap out of me, we are still in central Florida.
I'm hoping the market gets moving again soon. New listings are not happening.
