I decided to write this to keep up accountability for myself. I have been overweight for 11 years years now and have gain almost twenty pounds since the lock downs began in March. My DS3 and I are going to do body weight movements and walk at least a mile each day. I am a power lifter but my gym is closed for the foreseeable future so I must do something.
Stats as of 4/12/2020
Age: 42
Weight:340
Height: 6'2"
Waist: 46-48"
Body fat: 48%

Good to see another powerlifter, I'm an older version, but still trying!

Good luck.

No workout yesterday (4-13-2020). Trying to get food intake on point a little more.
I had leftover cheesy potatoes for breakfast, a large salad for lunch and cod fillets and tater tots for supper. I think I need to go back to weighing my food for portion control reasons.

Good on ya and we do have a nice, cozy and supportive little online community here. It also motivates me to post and read other's posts.

I use to be a Power Lifting Coach at the High School level in Texas and I know you are aware of the HUGE challenge to balance body weight and energy/power. Two of my most successful kids were in the 132lb and 148lb weight class and were both state Champions two years in a row. But oh my goodness we had such a challenge keeping them in their weight classes, while still be able to perform at peak.

I am going through that right now.... as I try to keep lifting and being calorie deficient to loose weight. For me, I just have to give up on getting stronger and focus on the body weight loss, while doing my best to maintain my strength over the weeks and months till I hit my target.

It's a tough row to hoe for us big boys!

You ain't kidding! My gym is temporarily closed because of all the BS going on but when it reopens I'm hitting hard. I took it for granted that I will be able to train whenever.
