I would buy a car, any new car that would accept old style "sealed beam" bulbs so i could retrofit Hella Quartz Iodine H4's. They were illegal as hell back in 1970's. Because they were not sealed. Todays headlights are crap.

WHAT! Has GM hire Lucas to wire their cars? My MGB was the only car I ever owned that had separate fuses for left and right sides. I rewired it and fixed that problem, but then it burned up in our first fire.

Get a cheap multimeter from Harbor Freight and put it in each vehicle tool box. And the RV. Many times during the year they are the "free bonus with any purchase" item. Only have three now. I could use about three more.
Two bad replacement bulbs! Who da thunk?
I was going to mention the headlight relays. Some still use them, some computer control turning off the low beams when the high beams are on.
