spent time in VIET NAM didn`t bother then - sure won`t bother now - and some %%% of smokers will go to something stronger and in the long run it probably ruins the brain and who know`s what else

I think most people think if people that say as you do and it was provable. POT would be a regulated drug.

If you want it controls as a drug where only designated diagnosed people could get it, I do not think people like me would object.

However If what you say is true there are enough states where such people could move to for the medical pot.

The truth is medical pot is a joke. It is just a way around the law. People that use medical pot are just potheads with an excuse.

I'm not a recreational user and I don't smoke, but cannabis is legal for medical use in my state. I have a medical condition which causes chronic and severe pain. My doctor prescribed opioids for my pain but I'm afraid to use them often because of the possibility of becoming addicted. She recommended that I try medical cannabis. I was desperate to relieve the pain, so I got approved for my medical marijuana card. Like I said, I don't smoke, so I tried the tincture and the mints. I use the minimum that I need to relieve my pain. I have to say that the cannabis works much better to relieve my pain then the opioids did, plus it's not addictive. It also helped calm muscle spasms, migraines and helped me sleep.

It's a shame that there is so much of a stigma attached to the use of it. My husband thought that it was funny that I used it because I'm so 'straight laced." He actually poked fun at me in front of our friends about it saying stuff like "Oh why don't you take one of your "special mints"." So now our friends know that I had used it. It embarrassed me so much, that I stopped using it. My quality of life has suffered because I'm too embarrassed to use it now and still will not allow myself to use the opioid pain medication very often so I'm in pain all of the time.

Knowing how helpful medical cannabis was for me has completely changed the way that I think of it. I'm not a "scum bag" or a "dirt ball" a "low life" or a drug addict. I think that it's important to keep your mind open to alternative medications. Having used it myself, I believe that (other) prescription drugs and even alcohol is much worse.

You can tell who is educated on the subject and who is not. The uneducated can only talk about "smoking" pot.

No matter the means you claim to "injest" it you are still getting the high. Stop tying to act like smoking it is the only way you are going to get the high and all other means are for your supposed "Medical needs"

THC free is not medical marijuana. You can't take only one component of a pain medication (CBD) and expect it to work as well as the whole thing. A good budtender can advise you on how to ease your pain. My MIL who has Fibro weaned herself of all other pain meds nearly 2 years ago. She decided that if her pain Dr was going to test her for marijuana every 30 days any way, maybe she should try it. I was prescribed steroids and opioids for sciatica. Between Kratom and MMJ I don't need either. 2 plants to replace 2 chemicals, I'm good with that.

Anyone that wants to smoke pot will, legal or not. Colorado showed that the rate of pot smoking decreased in many demographics. It just wasn't cool any more.

I signed a petition and voted for weed to be legalized in Maine and then it was.

Its so much better than alcohol.

I do smoke from time to time.

I plan on growing my own and making cannabutter. I've had pot brownies once a long time ago and the euphoric high I got was so much better than smoking it and lasted a long time too.

Years ago I was at a party where the Ganja smoke was so densely thick. I am certain I got a contact high. Aphrodesiac properties? Sure.
Two barely adult , exotic dancers at the party enjoyed my humorous banter .I tried to score with both. Ending up with me , taking only one to bed.
See... It didn't affect my memory .
