The next week, bam, I'm the one who is sick. Slight congestion, semi-productive cough and three days of fever. Fun fact, I am STILL sick. The cough morphed into a dry cough that hasn''t gone away. Fever went away until last week then returned for an entire week. I feel like a newborn kitten and haven't been able to do crap but drag my ass to work and couch surf when I'm home. I've lost weight because I can't stand to eat most of the time becasue I can't smell or taste anything. Also, intermittent nausea. I only weigh 106 on a good day and have lost 3 pounds. I so wish I had energy to so anything.
Sorry to hear this MFP. I pray you get better soon. Weird thing is that I am in and out of people's homes all day long. I wear gloves but I ran out of masks and I am still not sick.

I'm not doing anything in my down time. Between owning a business in an essential industry and having my kid home with me during the day and 4 nights a week, I don't have much down time. My only down time is when my son goes to his dad's house and I just rest and watch tv or read. On Sundays my son and I play games and play with his toys, cook, watch movies, go on a walk.

I've just been working out a lot from home. I usually go to a gym but that got shut down so I had to drag out my weights from the '90's when I was teenager, lol. Not fun but that's my stress relief I guess. Beyond that, I keep up with the news & have been painting parts of my house in need of it.

Old Yamaha 4-wheeler bought new back in 2003. Had a busted cv boot. Took that off and really saw how badly the frame was rusted. Got a new frame and just completed a complete rebuild. Planted 3 fruit trees. Found 3 puppies and they have taken all my time.

I’ve been making fabric masks. Downloading some pattern I want to make, and doing normal spring things. Yard cleaning, mowing, cutting brush and such as that. Plus the normal chores for a retired person. It’s not much different than usual for me. I don’t go to the store as much. That’s really the thing that’s changed the most. That and no visitors. If they do show up, they stay outside the fenced area and 6 feet apart. Even family.

I am reviving my trumpet playing. I was a music major with a concentration on trumpet on my first degree almost 50 years ago. I;m having to approach it gingerly since I don't want to ruin my embouchure, trying to "get there."

Today I'm checking out all the booze appreciation / blind taste test videos on YT.

Kind of seems like a stupid thing to learn.

But at least I've got the base covered.

Its penny stock so I at least get to see what I am doing.. ..
Not to worry the penny stock scammers will do a change of business announce some Covid 19 deal vend in, issue themselves a pile of paper and pay a group of German promoters to pump the stock up. Take your 35 buck loss and run.

Godspeed

I just retired so catching up on paperwork related to that. Been cooking, planning meals, trying new recipes from my preps. Still cool in NY, 35 out some mornings. Turning over planting beds in front of the house, vegetable garden is next. Did a weed and feed for the lawn. The pool opening follows in May. I have old cars to work on. I order a lot of parts online.
