This stuff is like candy. But when I searched information on "Ginger Root" it listed some positives features.......and some surprising warnings. But there is no warning on the bag as far as restricting consumption.

Is there something that changes when they take "Ginger Root" and crystallize it....???

Thank you, for any advise.......especially advise other then a simple internet search produces.

It can give you heartburn or make acid reflux worse.

Other than that, eat it like candy....it is candy.

My question is why is there a warning about Ginger Root interaction with prescription medication and also interaction with over the counter medication. And caution about things like thinning blood, and other issues. And yet no warning about this.

Sorry........I find that hard to believe. I doubt it will know the ramifications of possible dangerous interactions with prescription drugs.

If I feel like I am getting Heartburn or to much gas, I eat a few pieces of candied ginger and within a few minutes the relief from burping or just the ease of the heartburn going away.

Works better than Rollaids by far.

I would really only worry about a pregnant woman as too much can cause a miscarriage.

Remember they are cooking the root to make the candy so that probably affects a lot of the properties. I have never had a problem taking ginger capsules, which I do, 2x a day, for stomach issues related to medication, and it also helps my kratom (antidepressant herb) work better.
