Looks like this might be a place for each state to talk to each other easier.
Set up meet and greets and such.

Anyone near Golden Valley.

A couple friends are looking for property around there for $30,000 or less with a mobile home and large enough for a 34 foot motor home(my motor home.)

We all are ex US navy gun nuts and want to get out of the Socialist State of Kalifornia.

Were are all from the desert and disabled/retired.

On a side note, if anyone in/near Phoenix is looking for a good place to buy new/used things pretty cheap (tools/contractor, home goods, appliances, furniture, guns/ammo etc) check out auctionnation.net I've bought a couple things that I'm using for super cheap through them

Yuma in the winter for 9 months of the year, and 3 months of the year at the hidey-hole in the Four Corners, CO area (9,000ft).

Does that make me a Yuma Snowbird, or a Colorado Summerbird?

This is our last year in AZ, we are all retiring (wife and her parents) and moving to the 120 year old cabin permanently. I have spent the last five summers totally gutting out, jacked up and poured a concrete foundation and remodeled completely the cabin. Doubled it in size, built a garage last summer, and chicken coop and greenhouse are next. I am building a commercial log splitter here in Yuma to take up to Colorado, because I never get to retire. Concrete finishers don't have retirement programs. hehe

Well, seeing how this is my first post here ever, and it turned into a new member introduction, I am just going to copy and paste it to the new member introduction post. Ha! I hope you all don't mind

N. AZ

:D::D:Lived in AZ65 years now, all my life. Grew up on a cattle ranch in Apache County. Now have a cabin near Alpine. We are all set up there.:D: Also have a home in Tempe, hate it down here. Almost all my toys are up there. Peaceful and quiet where we are, very secluded, and cool in summer, not bad in winter, lots of good fishing in that area. Just hope it gets cold enough for some ice fishing this winter. The lakes up there produce well early, before the desert folks show up, then gets good after they leave in the fall. Just caught some 2 1/2 lb german brown trout 18 inches long out of one lake two weeks ago. Fat and solid fish.:D::D::D::):):)
