AZ Radio Comm Net?

Any radio operators in the AZ forum?

If there is enough locals, there is a possibility for a VHF/UHF (FRS/MURS/GMRS/2M/70cm) or even HF (11 Meter or Amateur) to try and set something up.

I am active on 11 Meter (SSB or AM) and Amateur. I tend to favor 11 meters due to antenna size in SSB, as 2M/70cm is pretty dead here most of the year.

Anyone in AZ interested in getting a Comm Net together?

I'm in Yuma, but with NVIS we might be able to set up a net on HF.

There is a UHF Repeater on 446.575 Out, 441.575 in PL 179.9 It is linked to 53.000 Simplex, and 147.440 Simplex With PL of 179.9
It covers Vail, and Green valley very well. Many HF radios have Six meters, if you’re in a remote area, give 53.000 Simplex a try because it has very good Receive Sensitivity.
