Default Quality "GOGGLES" Like Revision Snowhawk

Looking for any input on high quality goggles. Thinking of the Revision Snowhawk Goggles. These would NOT be used for skiing. These things $200.00 to $300.00 so I would appreciate any input.

Thanks

Haven't used that particular model, looks like it is part of a system with a balaclava.

I have used the Revision Desert Locust quite a bit and they are high quality. They do fit well but like all goggles, if you have something blocking the vent at the top (like a helmet), they will fog up. I have tried dozens of "anti-fog" juices with mixed results. The stuff that worked the best was rainex for car windows but even it needed a new coat every day or so. The rest of the products were a hourly application.

The ESS brand Goggles are compatible in quality but I didn't like the fit as well. YMMV

Thanks..........The snowhawk is a double lens, intended for cold, and I guess the double lens reduces fogging.

Do you have any experience with the different color lenses......???

Used the smoked a lot, its bright in the desert. They work just like sunglasses.

Have also used the yellow lenses, they work just like shooting glasses in reduced light. I prefer these to clear.

The polarized ones would be good for snow I think but I haven't ever used them in goggles. I use polarized sunglasses when fishing on bright days, it helps see into the water.

Some of the best goggles I ever owned were motocross goggles, MSR brand. I don't remember them fogging up all the time either but its been years since I rode. And I doubt they were ballistic.

Scott makes really good goggles @ a fair price.

Take a look at what they have.
