So far it doesn't look like there's a whole lot us representing vt, but of there is let's talk about hiking and camping spots.

Some of my favorite hiking trails are:
-the Frost trail
-Bald mountain
-Glastonbury
-Kelly stand (mostly just for camping and fly fishing)
-the southern section of the Long Trail
-"the point" in Pownal

Well that's a few of mine, let's here some more.

Growing up my parents always brought me to Half Moon Pond State Park. Was a great spot away from the over-crowded Lake Bomoseen but now all the flatlanders know about the place.

If you want to really get away from people try Greendale Campground in the Vt. National Forest in Weston off Route 100. This place is so secluded that the ranger only "visits" once a day in the summer. No one is ever there to my knowledge and they have a brook and some ponds nearby for fishing along with the forest to hike.

There's always Glastenbury and the Bennington Triangle. Hunters and hikers walk in but don't always walk out.
