I have gardened for a few years now, done raised beds, pots, as well as 2 years of a strictly container garden. Last year I started a new plot. I had some issues due to shade and some heavy clay. But this year two large trees had to come down due to storm damage, this is going to help with the sun. I am building raised beds, trucking in soil, and also under took building a compost bin. Its going to be a good year ( fingers crossed ), I am trying a few new things just to get the experience under my belt. Sooo I figured I would share some Pics.

Below you will see the thinning of the tobacco, which is a One Sucker variety. The start of the tomatoes, these are the Tony Italians, and Tiny Tims for my pots on the porch. The other shot is the plants under the grow light a month later. Jalepenos, Bell Pepper, Cucs, Basil, One Sucker Tobacco, Brandywine Giants, Green Zebra, Burbank Orange, Chadwick Cherry, the Tinys and Tony's. and finally the compost one shot with it open and the other sealed up to keep out the possums, feral cats and coons. I had not a clue what I was doing but I am extremely happy with the way it turned out.

Besides what I have started now, I will be doing potatoes, i grew some with decent success last year, also carrots and beans.

any pointers or comments are welcomed.
