Default PRAGER: Our Dress Rehearsal For A Police State

Quote:
“Police state” does not mean totalitarian state. America is not a totalitarian state; we still have many freedoms. In a totalitarian state, this article could not be legally published, and if it were illegally published, I would be imprisoned and/or executed.

But we are presently living with all four of the key hallmarks of a police state:
No. 1: Draconian laws depriving citizens of elementary civil rights.
No. 2: A mass media supportive of the state’s messaging and deprivation of rights.
No. 3: Use of police.
No. 4: Snitches.

The rest at the link above.

But, but, our Police are hero’s!
But, but I support the blue line!
But, but the Police would never do that!
But, but not in my County!
But, but Police support Republicans!
But, but my friend is a cop!
But, but.......

The first rehearsal was in Boston. the fake bombing.

They drove armored assault vehicles all over town forcing people out of their houses at gunpoint.

"A teenage kid did something 10 miles away, so we are tossing people out of their homes and having fun.

Resist and we will wipe you out. Have a nice day".

Ma'am, please step outside so we don't have to gut shoot you and your children in your own house.

The militarization of the police has never been more prevalent than now. They are no longer peace offices and law enforcement. They are a paramilitary organization through and through. Anyone watch Live PD? How many of the agencies the show follows where the officers are wearing plate carriers and are pretty much decked out for a war zone patrol?

9/11 is when all this BS began! We have been living in a police state since the "War on drugs" began! Duh! Sometimes it feels like I have been living all alone on this planet.

Default When people are afraid, they demand more police

Police do the bidding of the string-pullers. "Law makers" (spit, spit, spit ) and petty local tyrants (mayors and governors) who make their own laws without regard to the Constitutionality of any of it. Some police gleefully enforce those laws that they are behind politically and ignore those they are not. Some aggressively enforce orders and proclamations to use against individuals just to throw their weight around.
  • Like the cop on horseback who told the elderly couple they couldn't use folding chairs on the beach.
  • Like the cops who arrested the lone surfer for not "social distancing" while there was nobody else around for hundreds of yards except for the cops.
  • Like the cops who arrested the young mother whose kids were in the park playing.
  • Like the cops who arrested the dad who with his wife (three people total) were playing T-ball in an empty park with their daughter.
====

Why the heavy handedness? Too much contempt of cop?

Now with a convenient "emergency", the door is wide open for the expansion of the police state.

Default There are cops in my family - they see it too.

There is ONE cop show on TV that I enjoy watching and it's pure fiction in many different ways.

"Blue Bloods"

All the rest simply glorify murder, mayhem and firepower and the more grizzly and explicit the better.

===

Thank goodness my area is under the jurisdiction of the sheriff's department and not some mayor with a Napoleon complex. It seems the deputies' main duties are to bust up drunken tourist beach parties and illegal parking along narrow two lane roads. No plate carriers, just a tan uniform and gun belt.

They all drive 4WD SUVs.

====

Ruby Ridge and Waco were the FBI. Completely different people. So is the TSA and all that noise.

===

Before I forget, I was in the little market today picking up something and I saw a sheriff's deputy in there too. NO MASK! OMG! I had better alert the media, herr doktor fauci and have his badge. He was MUCH too close to the bananas.

Philadelphia 1985 The M.O.V.E. bombing.
In 1985, another confrontation ended when a police helicopter dropped a bomb on the MOVE compound, a row house in the middle of the 6200 block of Osage Avenue.The resulting fire killed eleven MOVE members,including five children, and destroyed 65 houses in the neighborhood. The survivors later filed a civil suit against the city and the police department, and were awarded $1.5 million in in a 1996 settlement.

We could go back even further into the civil rights era or all the way back to the 1921 Tulsa Massacre.

Whatever group starts acting like "the Kings Men," should be prepared to be treated as such.

Can't paint with too broad a brush on either side, but also shouldn't make excuses, for either side.

Dennis Prager needs to make up his mind.

One minute he's super pro Patriot act, pro police, pro military, pro Israeli government (socialist police state) and the next minute he's anti police state?

You love all the elements and minutia of the quintessential police state but hate the actual police state?

I’m not even sure the politicians were ready for how easy it was to get the sheeple in line. Did ya ever notice that the thugs (aka: governors) are alway flanked by the state police when they’re issuing their edicts? It’s a subtle threat, but a threat non the less.

It goes back further than that; Look into the history of the Bonus Army march and what happened to them. Look at the Whiskey Rebellion. There's no shortage of other examples throughout our history.

If it's that bad from the beginning why not leave? Nobody is making you stay here. I'm sure you will get upset with me but it's the truth. Nobody is keeping anyone here in America unless you are locked up. After that you are free to go where you will. I ask people if it's that bad here why not leave for some place they think is better?....
