Default Any other preppers in Oregon?

I am looking for other preppers in the Willamette Valley. Are there any classes or groups I can join of like minded people? (I.e. learning to forage wild edibles, hiking in the cascades, learning to trap)

I am looking to gain knowledge about this sort of thing.

Please and thank you!

Sadly no. Most adore Kate Brown and she is trying for the stupid cap and trade again! It didn't work the 1st time why does she think it will now? Like last time another walk out is happening. If we had someone decent we would be a lot better shape. We are way overdue for a major east to west freeway and major upgrades of existing higways as they are made for 80s/90s traffic standards. If their are any they aren't 'wasting' time here. They are working their butts off to pay for our insane home rates in this state. 300,000$ for a house really only worth 150,000 max. no thanks and their are plenty of that crap.

22 should be a freeway at least to Detroit lake it's not 1991 anymore. Ideally to Bend but we waste money on stupid feel goood programs instead so at the very least to Detroit to cut down on travel time and bump the speed up to OR freeway standards for that stretch since it's fairly straight to Detroit with minimum and mostly gentle curves towards the end.. I can't think of a better first spot to try a major road enhancement.
