put pri- qc brake on my ar and i loved the reduced recoil. looking through a scope i never lost site of the target even on the last 5 or 6 rounds that i shot as fast as i could. the only drawback was it was noticeably louder. i thought it was supposed be around 5 decibels but i got to think it was atleast 10 and probably 15 decibels more. also does anyone know if you get sparks through the brake for the first few shots or am i just seeing the flames come back and they look brighter because they were coming back towards me?

Thats because it doesnt suppress flash as well as a flash suppressor. You have make sacrifices. To me Id rather have the FS as the recoil on a .223 is minimal.

not recoil but muzzle climb. every time you pull the trigger the barrel lifts an inch or two. which means time to reacquire the target. if you reduce climb you reduce time on follow up shots and those shots will be more accurate.
