M4 AR-15, and the stabilization rig I carry them in. It carries six 30 rd magazines, my P-14 and three mags, compass, and one gallon of pure water. It will get me to where ever I want to be, within 60 miles, and take care of whatever zombie control I would be involved in enroute.

Default One Piece of gear

my backpack because I keep it ready all the time and it is handy and has everything I need to last at least 2 months if need be plus what I can kill or catch near my home when I hit the woods which are only less than 100 yards away from my back door. Throw a a bridle and saddle on the horse my backpack and I am gone and if need be I can eat the horse if I have to if it came to it especially in the winter and good strong horse will provide at least 3 months of meat in an emergency. Mobile food. If you have two pack mules to go also you still have transportation and food if needed.

For this to work, you can not repeat posts. The point of this exercise is to prioritize gear in a BOB, so your cooperation would be appreciated.
