This is not the same state that I grew up in. When I grew up the only language other than english was a rare Portugues and that was rare. My german relatives never spoke german ever. the few black kids that I went to school dressed and spoke like the rest of us. During hunting season there were shotguns in the truck window of almost all pickups in the school parking lot and the car trucks also had a shotgun. Other than marijuana there were no drugs. there was one bull dike who worked hard, told good jokes and I sat in the barber shop several times while got she had hair cut with the guys.
Now a large portion of the city speaks spanish and speaks it in public, welfare has gone up and crime has increased. the kids have to park off campus and hide shotguns during hunting season

..like "1984", this seems more profound than ever, eh?

..and what 'Brown' (aptly named.. didn't finish, his Scientology-rape-baby / marionette 'Newscum' seems poised to finish off..

a) Mogli, yer like my 'long-lost ideology Sister'... Again, you Nail it..

b) PPL: Abre Los Ojos!! You are missing the forest thru the trees (..in the 'tunneled perspective' that it's All just 'Kalifornia'..) All of this is Outlined in AG21 / 2030 / 50 - it's all right there! Global > Participating Country > Federal (Deep State, anyway..) > State (underbelly..) > Regional / County / City / Town.. this 'blueprint' (oh, the irony of that word, eh? is the 'infusion' of AG-control statutes being implemented.. This IS coming to Your "Free" State!

..Yes, some states will 'hold out' longer than others, but.. UNTIL the AG21-infected Roaches, 'TPTB' are Eliminated - this 'virus' / cancer, whatever, Is going to continue to spread..

..Awareness / getting 'unplugged from thier Matrix', above all else, is what's needed - and then - Action. 'They' want us all Just like in all the 'dystopian horror stories' (1984, Matrix, Idiocracy, et al..) nothing more than 'batteries' for their sustenance.. ..So, please, Focus on the - Real - Enemies around / over us - all - and NOT keep blaming EVERYONE that simply Lives here - Wrong Answer (imo..) Yeah, it's excruciatingly tough to deal with / so sad see the hole that this Once Wonderful ST has become, but.. If we don't learn to Fight 'them' - here - we won't learn to Fight them... when they come to / infect everywhere else, ie: ID, WY, MT, MO, TX, FL, NB, etc, etc..

got power again. May go out soon though. the people on Facebook are blaming PG&E. Why aren't the blaming the enviromentalists who stopped the proper land practices which control fires? Deer hunting last weekend I hunted a recent burn area. 20 years ago a prior burn in the same area was stopped by the clear cuts. Now fire burn in the thousands of acres and kills all of the wild life. Clear cuts make fresh habitat for the animals and don't kill any. My state now welcomes illegals and lets its resources burn

Default California Undercover Agents Staking Out Nevada Gun Shows

https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/ca...ada-gun-shows/

You knew this was going to happen.

Quote:
Undercover California law enforcement agents are prowling gun shows in Nevada, watching for attendees with California license plates on their cars. This article from the LA Times emphasizes that they’re looking for buyers bringing “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines back home.

However, now that ammunition is subject to a background check in the Golden State, you can bet that they’re stopping those buyers, too. And while not mentioned in the article, does anyone think they’re not also staking out gun stores near the border as well?

I'd guess the same would work for people buying ammo out there. Plus, the CA border is pretty porous and they have a lot of ways to get back there. You know, back roads and such.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

They do the same thing here with fireworks and Evanston Wyoming.

Just take the bus to Reno or wherever the gun show is, rent a car, buy your stuff, turn in the rental car, catch the bus back home.

The only problem is that ammo in quantity is heavy.

I wonder if the Coast Guard patrols Lake Tahoe.

Also, it’s very suspect if the votes are even legitimate to start with. Voter fraud is a fact and not only in California.

I want to make it clear to everyone reading this thread. I do not in any way advocate any of the insanity happening in California. None of it. I happen to be further right leaning than most of the people here. I’m a Classical Liberal with whiffs of Anarchist and most of the ideology you all keep calling ‘liberal’, is not ‘liberal’ at all. It’s Progressivism. Communism really. The Democrat party is full blown communists. And the GOP isn’t far off that mark.

This country is in the grips of full blown Collectivism. Just like Nazi Germany, communist Russia, and all the other Collectivist nations that have gone down in flames. What you’re witnessing here has nothing to do with liberalism. This is pure Authoritarianism/ collectivism, perverting EVERY STATE. Which was my point.

Our founders were more ‘liberal’ than any of these clowns masquerading as our representatives. ‘States rights have been severely impeded. The federal government has way more power than they should. And the enmeshment of funds, like public schools, is a disaster.

You folks who keep looking at California alone, in disgust, are missing the mark and distracting from the problem. You’re contributing to the division of the country which is tearing us apart. Divide and conquer. You’re part of the problem.

Yes California is horrific. So is OR, WA. NY, NJ, and many, many more. And no, California did not infect those states. Hollywood contributed to the perversion of your states. But YOU allowed Hollywood in your homes. That’s on you!

The beginning of the solution is for We, as a nation, to recognize the real enemy, which is ourselves, and stop our portion of the contribution. I don’t know how that’s going to happen. Perhaps we’re already too enmeshed. I think a great start would be to refuse to send our kids to public school and also perhaps refuse to pay property tax. If a large enough portion of the population had the guts to refuse to pay property tax, which helps fund the public indoctrination centers, we could change things.

But everyone is too comfortable with their portion of the Collectivist pie. Don’t want to rock that boat!!!!!! Finger pointing at all of you. Because we’re all ensnared. Yep, all of us. Much easier to point fingers at KalifornIA!!! Hey guys, this crap is in your states, counties, towns, homes. Same fungus. GROWING..........

~~~~~Sumthin’ to think about.
They aren't getting that in depth, at least as of now. Plus I believe they would need a warrant to access rental car records.
It is very lowtech as they are literally just watching the parking lot for cars with CA plates and then following the people around to see what they buy.
Unfortunately Cali is sending their best *and* worst to other states. It’s truly appalling how many leftists leave California, go to a freer state, and then vote for the same exact policies that caused their exodus from California.
The end result of this is turning even more once-red states purple and then blue. Texans deny the inevitability, but the demographics have no choice. And unfortunately, demographics are largely trending in favor of the Left. For the rest of the country, it’s only a matter of time until we are turned into a third world socialist hell hole like California.
I lived in CA from '79 to '94. my friends report that everything went to **** 6 weeks after I left. all of my favorite Jeep trails were shut down right after I left.
when I got to NM I was told to get the CA plates off my car immediately. NMs hate Texans more than Californians. but Texans all have dual long range tanks on their pickups. they could make a wrong turn and get here by accident. A Californian had to cross two state lines and fill up a couple times, so we had to be here on purpose
if you see a Californian with a cowboy costume, he thinks a Guernsey is a new model by Porsche, and he probably does not know which end of a cow is moo and which end is milk. I would love to see a crowd of California cowboys round up some escaped cattle.
The rental car would have Nevada plates so it should be of little interest to CA cops. Unless they intend to investigate EVERY car with Nevada plates.
Would Nevada cooperate?
If somebody REALLY wants to smuggle stuff into CA, they will find a way.
I stayed in CA in '77 for a few years after being released from the Corps. It started changing even back then. Taxes got higher, home prices went up and apartment rental increased yearly.
I went home to CT thinking it would be like the CT I knew before I entered the Corps. It wasn't! But I did get a high paying job at Sikorsky's building helicopters. But now even CT has gone bad.
It's almost as if we can't get away from it. The libs infect politics in many states and we only can move to someplace better, usually only to see it happening there over time.
There has to be a place to go way it's okay to live and doesn't have the taxes or stupid laws. I'm finally on my way to check houses in SC which seems to be okay at the moment. I'm sure that will change but I'm almost 68 yos and I can deal with it for the few years I have left.
From my personal observations: Most Californians I have met whether Democrat, socialist, Republican, Conservative, blah blah blah have one thing in common. A Government-First mindset. "More government will fix it!". It is the elephant in the room that has been painted Blue and Red throughout the years but is a dangerous 2 ton beast none the less. IMO.
I must be in the minority?
But I've seen what you're talking about, I'm the one the speaks up and says "More govt is not the answer".
With the things going on, it is inevitable more govt will be what happens.
Good example: well water is common where I live. It's your water, you have the right to use it how you wish. That being said, planting 100 trees that need water goes thru a lot of water. I've seen it local, neighbor goes thru 6k gallons a day, suddenly everyone needs to fix their well, water table drops drastically.
How do you correct that problem?
I've talked to the biggest offender, it's his water, he can do what he wants but it affects all of his neighbours. He didn't care and kept on pumping until his well pump broke and is now stuck in the well. He has to drill a new well, which isn't cheap. Far as I know he's been out of water for about three months, all of the grass is dead, some trees are dead. He's been hauling a lot of water every day, he's starting to realize just how much water he was using. Will that change his habits in the future? Time will tell but I doubt it.
People are selfish, selfish people bring the govt on themselves.
The govt ties the citizens hands, the citizen then asks for govt help, that's how you get more govt.
