stopped at the LGS and scored 2 50cals, a CVA hawken and a CVA plainsman for $120 for the pair.
the bores need attention, it looks like they were fired once and put up with out a cleaning and the hawken barrel exterior will need a reblueing . the wood on both are good, the locks are tight.

That sounds like about the right price for a pair of CVA guns...

I can't help you either. I don't use my flip phone (yes Virginia I have a flip phone) to take pictures. I just use my digital camera and load them to my "Pictures" folder and then grab them from there using the Attachments button at the top of the dialog box. The thing that looks like a paper clip.

HELLO, good buy, Question ? was the HAWKEN, a mt rifle, It would have a patchbox and double wedges securing the barrel and a pewter nose cap. I have 2 1 perc and 1 flintlock both made in USA stamped on barrel,s made in the late 70,s before they switched to being made in spain, Mine are very good shooting rifles.

I think those guns are supposed to have barrels made by Douglas and are supposed to be excellent shooters.
