OO nice... $1300 and you get 2 guns in one. im assuming the pump is for the shotty and they 223 is semi auto. Realy not bad considering i paid 1300 for a 50cal DE and might drop $1400 on just a 12ga shotty.

Well, I like the round combination and it sure is pretty. However based on the looks alone I suspect it doesn't pass the "Eekk, that looks scary!" test that determines when a gun is restricted or prohibited in Canada.

Oops, did I let my opinion show there.

Cheers,
-Per.

i havent seen one of those in ten years or better, it was made by saco defence a very old military arms maker here in the USA...however they have since been bought out by genrel dynamics i think......

it was a pump action. the selector for changing from .223 to 12ga or vice versa is there on the left side of the reciever ,it took standerd AR mags and the shotgun shell mag is located ontop of the butstock and holds four rounds if i remember right.......

i did get the chance to handle one years ago as it's forword looking desighn intrested me....but....it was a complicated firearm machanical wise and it was anything but smooth as far as working the action, as a matter of fact in later production they added a forword pistol grip to help with racking the tight action.......

i just happend to think, there were plans to produce one of these in 12ga over .308 but i never saw one anywere for sale......too bad........
