Default kerosene at the pump?

seems like the cheapest kerosene price i can find is $8/gallon. I'm sure it would be cheaper at the pump, but I can't find a location.

do y'all know places in the greater denver area?

I got out of the kerosene thing and went to propane, but I used to just use diesel in my kerosene shop heater for years with no ill effects. The wife thought that Stub's gas and oil off I76 in Wiggins had a pump but I am not certain. If it is close enough for you I will confirm.

A lot of people use diesel instead of kerosene for heating. But you can't run a diesel generator off of kerosene for long. Kerosene does not have the lubricity of diesel.....it has less oil I think.

Kerosene seems to last for decades though. I have used 20 year old kerosene in my heater. Might be worth finding a good source and stocking up. I believe that it burns cleaner....better for health if you have a lot of exposure.

Only cheap kerosene I ever found was dispensed from a pump just like diesel. Price was about the same as diesel...I believe it can be done if you find a good source.

We just got back from Virginia. We stopped for gas and that was $2.29 a gallon. They had kerosene there also at $3.99 a gallon. Not the pure kerosene K-1 (?) but the type they put a dye into meant for vehicles.

K-1 is hard to even find where we live. Tractor Supply has an add: 5 gallons at $39.99 in a can.

Last I checked around here at a fuel bulk distributor it was about $4/gal
They had more had naphtha (Coleman/zippo fuel) for slightly more. Still cheaper than a can at wallyworld or lowe's.
