Default Who would like to review a Thorfire flashlight?

Advertise Here

Thorfire sent me an email and asked who would like to receive a flashlight to review?

The light would be yours to keep.

Being able to share pictures of the light and a review on social media would be great.

Suggestions and input would be nice.

Would you would be interested in doing a review, please post a reply.

I love me some flashlights and I'd be happy to do a review... and who doesn't like free stuff?

I consider myself to be both an excellent writer and a keen analyzer of artificial illumination products. This sounds perfect for me!

I'll provide my own personally bought Thor review...

ThorFire TK4A LED Flashlight 1100 Lumens Most Powerful AA Light with 6 Modes

I bought from amazon, arrived in 2 days, great packaging w extra O rings too...

Instructions could be printed a bit bigger, but no biggie.

nice, solid feel, fills out my hand like a Maglight.

on/off button is solid and lights up green if batteries are good, red if not.

very easy to toggle thru the modes, from uber bright, ys 100m easily to moonlight mode which would be handy in grid down, basic low light needs.

specs:

Modes: Low(30LM)-Mid(200LM)-High(600LM)-Turbo(1100LM), hidden Strobe(600LM) and Moonlight(1 LM)
Lifetime: with a lifespan of 20 years
Battery: Uses 4*AA Ni MH / Ni Cd/Alkaline(Not Included)
Material: Made of Aircraft-grade aluminum
Size:approx 115mm(Length) * 41mm(Body Diameter)
Weight: 178.5-gram weight (Excluding the battery)
Water resistant: IPX-8, underwater 2m
Impact resistant: 1m
Intensity: 11600cd (Max)
Distance: 460m (Max)

more than enough to light up my neighbors homes last night in the rain, and see very clearly, 100m away...

i like to stand on end and turn on moonlight, points light up..

the included case and landyard are nice too, would be nice of case was molle type, but no biggie...

the end cap has two prongs that fit into two holes, and allows the inside of the cap to rotate as it screws down, very tight, watertight seal...battery install is easy w diagrams on which way to insert them..handy...

all in all a great light for the price, now resides in kitchen drawer for emergencies...

i would buy more of them, as running off AA is handy.....

I had the opportunity to review the PF04 Penlight. I think I am already on the list for future chances to review.
