Default NE Colorado range recomendations?

Advertise Here

I am rural, but getting too many neighbors that need to live in Boulder. Recommendations for a good range in the NE Colorado area? Morgan, Washington or Logan County? A reasonable membership cost is not an issue for the right place.

I am not a rapid fire blasting guy, just like shooting everything from AR's to my .45 Colt black powder cartridge Ruger Vaqueros with my family. Kind of funny, I make more noise and shoot faster with my single actions! I need to get back into Cowboy Shooting, it is alot of fun!

I belong to Clear Creek Sportsman's Club in Dumont. No, it is not NE Colorado - it is west on I-70 about another 30 minutes past Golden, but it is nice. Not too far from Boulder.

Private range with combination locks on both gates. 7 bays, 5 25 yard bays and 2 100 yard bays. with high berms between the bays.

Cost is only $85.00 per year. The only gotcha is that they generally have a waiting list every year. If interested, check them out and get on the list.

Good luck.

MrAnderson,

Wow, looks like a cool place, but sure it is pricey! I will check it out for sure! Would be over an hour but looks worth the trip. Have you been there? I sure like their address, Ronald Reagan Blvd!

I like the Never Summer Range, an isolated group of mountains with few visitors.
