We're looking to relocate, possibly to the Sequim area (currently in KS). How is the population there? I hate traffic, crowds, etc. I love what I see online - the Olympic trails system, the parks, etc. Are they just crawling with people all the time? At least around here where I live when I go to a trail to hike during the week, I'm not bothered by crowds! We were worried that being a more touristy place, that even during the weekdays all the beautiful, peaceful spots would be crawling with people and, therefore, all the tranquility would be sucked out. So how populated is the area in general? (And I know it's relative - this question is coming from someone whose always lived in small towns)

Ktp, Welcome to the form. I retired in mid 2006, about a year after moving to the area
in early 2005, it's going on 8 years now and we have no regrets. The Port Angeles/
Sequim area has grown since we've been here, but is still a small town. I live about half way between the two and find that traffic is not a problem at all . It's a very big change
from the Seattle area from which we came, the nights are dark and you can see the stars, and it's quiet. We are about 3 blocks from the Olympic trail. It is truly a great place to live. If you have any specific questions I'll do my best to answer them.

Have a great day . ...................Jack

Fingerstyle, Welcome aboard it's good to see some one is in the neighborhood or at least
nearby. I'm about half way between Sequim and Port Angeles, just off 101.
