So I searched and realized there wasnt a thread dedicated to giving praise for the best handgun on the planet I know there are some other fans out there of Glock so lets see some of those bad boys..

Here is my favorite Glock. Its a Gen3 G21 with Truglo TFO night sights, Lasermax guide rod, with a 3.5lb Scherer connector installed with Extended slide release. One of the sweetest shooting .45's Ive ever laid hands on. Its also my bedside gun.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Let's see some porn boys and girls!

Good idea! There is an XD thread, and a Hi-Point thread, so I think Gaston Glock's masterpiece deserves a place. Hopefully a moderator can make this a sticky!

Last wednesday at our local practical shooters club, on my third round I shot a perfect score on an 18 shot course. Bone stock factory G17 Gen 3. Kinda makes you feel like a badass when you show the dudes with THOUSANDS of $$$$ on their hip how it is done...Then a few rounds later "Carrie" (see video below, she is a local), came and matched my score in way less time...with a glock someone insist she try! Can't win em all. But the dudes with Thousands on the hip that go too fast were standing there watching and had to be thinking WTF?

Thanks! Yup, she's a Gen 2. It now sports a set of Ameriglo Pro nite-sights. Love that pistol!

I'd LOVE to have a Glock in 10mm...some day. Next on my pistol purchasing list is a 17L or 34...have not decided yet. any advice would be welcome I want it for a pistol to stay at home for my wife, I'm looking for a police trade-in 17 though, too.

My main carry is a G30. I love this gun takes whatever ammo i throw even the "cheap" range ammo. Having 10 rounds of ranger jhp in a concealable package is incredibly satisfying.

Gen 3 glock 19 checking in.

This is the first handgun I bought and I'll never sell it. I've put 2,000 rounds through it and i have only had 1 malfunction. Well, it was a FTE while my little brother's girlfriend shot it. She had never shot a pistol and it had to be the result of limp wristing. I corrected her grip and it was smooth sailing from then on.

a couple weeks ago, I had it with me while swimming/fishing in a creek in the ozarks. it was in and out of the water all day, getting stepped on by sandy dogs, etc. fired without exception.

BTW, it fired perfectly underwater

Nice rigs man! How do you like that Minotaur? Was thinking about picking one up to try for my 19..

Heres my EDC. Gen 3 G19 in FDE with Trijicon night sights. Gun also has the 3.5lb connector and extended slide release. I carry it in a custom Crossbreed-esque-ish leather/kydex holster. I bought it from a local maker ($50)and if you are interested, pm me and I will pass along his info. If anyone is pondering a Crossbreed Supertuck, this is basically the same thing at half the price. Super comfy

Nice

I LOVE the Minotaurs. I have an older one (Slide, any Glock 9mm) that was my first ccw holster. I use CompTac for 95% of my carry.

I modified the one you see above - I trimmed off the curved bottom piece of leather and cut down the kydex near the barrel and trigger guard. I like them minimal.

Very nice

I've considered getting one and a barrel for my G30sf but it would cost me like $1100 and take 9-12 months

I traded my brand new kimber for a glock due to reliability issues. Are glocks the best? Nope. However,I can go to any dirt bag country in the world and get parts for a glock. What other pistol can you do that with?
