Didn't do a lot of fishing this year. Had a good day with specks & tripletail, little pompano. A small blue on a jug line in the swamp.

Both were taken on the same day (10-07-2013). Navajo Lake, NM. Francis Canyon. That's me with the bass and my fishing buddy Carl with the pike. We were both using size 7, Rapala Shad Raps. Mine was the Helsinki lure pattern. His was a plain-Jane blue over white.

Here are a few of my favorites from over the years.

7ft+ over 200lb Sturgeon

Couple more, different species...Lake sturgeon this time. First one was 5ft and 90ish lbs, caught on 6ft rod with 8lb test and took over an hour to land.

Goldeye

Rainbow in a river that wasn't supposed to have any.

A couple nice Walleye.

My biggest to date.

Sockeye Salmon.

The wife a.k.a The Carp Lady as named by the locals after her impressive ability to catch nothing but these big buggars.

Biggest fish I ever caught. I was 8 years old. 42 pound striped bass caught out of Canton Lake, OK in the Canadian Campground area.
