I got a used one for $80 and it worked 100%

I put over 500 rounds of Wolf and other cheap, dirty ammo through it, and I never even cleaned it. Like I said... worked %100

The pistols are probably okay too, but I wouldnt want to be seen with one. The carbine is a good piece, expecially for the price.

BTW, mine was a 9mm

They make them in 40 too and I think maybe 45. Although if they dont make a 45, it would be a big seller if they made it take 1911 mags!

I've added the 995 Carbine to my collection and I love it. Cheap to shoot, accurate, and easy to maintain. The only downfalls are the 10 round mag and the guns ugly looks (luckily I've just ordered the ATI stock for it).

I own one. Cheap, eats whatever I put through it and goes "BANG"! Ugly as a mud fence but Big Time FUN!

Had one for many years...works like a champ..mine is 9mm...they say the mags are interchangeable with the pistol...I do not own one, so I do not know. They do make a 15 round mag.

The 15 round magazines as issued from the pro-mag do not work. There are some modifications one can do to get them functioning but it is a pain in the ass. The tens work. The carvine 9mm mags usually work in the pistols but the 9mm pistol mags will not work in the carbine.
I have both a carbine 995 and pistol 9mm compact. Both function well I like the carbine a lot more though.

I don't trust my life to my Xbox 360, but I still bought one for the same reason as my 995-- for funsies.

Default My thoughts on my 995

Good: No jams. Goes bang whenever I pull the trigger. Cheap to shoot. Looks a lot better with the ATI stock.

Bad: I lack the strength in my left arm to cock it, so I have to switch hands and charge it with my right. My hands are to small for my right thumb to reach the magazine release (with the ATI stock installed), so changing magazines is a two hand operation. Sometimes (about 2 out of 10 I suppose) magazine gets hung up on something while inserting and won't go in- have to depress the mag release to get the magazine in.

Will I count on it for zombies if SHTF? Hell no, but I ain't going to battle with anyone either.

$400? Robbery!

You can get the carbine brand new for less than $250 (including shipping and FFL) at http://www.impactguns.com/store/752334099501.html and buy the stock for less than $50 plus shipping at www.combathunting.com .

Reason enough never to look for guns at gunbroker.

Default who knows?

I guess it would be better than no gun at all. You get what you pay for.
