Would you rather be shot one time with a 9mm bullet or one time with a 45ACP bullet? I like my odds of surviving if i am shot with a 9mm, rather than a 45.

I'm just saying.
I'd rather be hit crossing the street by an F150 going 30 mph, than an F250 going 30 mph.

I'm just saying.

I like how he compared apples and oranges win his ammo test. I want to see these comparisons using simple ball ammo...

As well, people I trust more than an internet blogger (Col. Cooper for one) said .45 is the way to go.

Good enough for me.

"9mm Versus .45 Caliber: Does Size Really Matter?

The debate between 9mm and .45 has raged for years, and I am not foolish enough to think that I can settle it for everyone, but I would like to weigh in. Some of you may be complaining already ‘Not this again,’ but from the point of view of a former .45acp-only guy, let me tell you where my experiences have led me and why I’ve changed my opinion on the matter completely.

I've owned both 45's and 9mm's over the years. I have owned, carried, and regularly shoot a browning hipower for the last 14 years now. For me it's the pistol that determines the caliber.
